10K at Gampel and 16K plus at XL Center in Hartford. XL is in the middle of the state while the campus (Gampel) is tucked in the corner and harder for everyone to get to. But it is politics and money that obviously speak the loudest on where they play.

I get a "student section" is intended for students but how is that a "vibe killer"?

Again, WTF? Those upper student seats are the last to be put on general sale. That they were filled is a good thing. More money, more fans, more noise.

Judging from student attendance the last few years, I'd ask why do the students hate the AD. Too many championships? Dorm life become too comfy? Most of you are not getting laid this weekend anyway.
