I had someone come to my door and wanted me to buy tickets to the BYU game.

They said if I let them in to chat, I could have them for free.

No excuses. The Rent needs to be sold out. Nationally recognized opponent, first game of the Diaco era and a game that promises to be very close. Not to mention the added element that UCONN fans need to #HuskyUp if we want out of the AAC. 40,000 or bust.

If you go onto ticket master it shows a healthy amount left. Hard to say looking at the map but looks like a couple thousand left?

If the site can be believed, there are about 2k tickets or so remaining for most games. I don't know when the visiting team releases their unsold allotment (5k?). But there should be a good crowd.

We are a decade in. Labor Day weekend is an issue. We've tried Thursday. We've tried Saturday.

We've had a hurricane decide.

Now we'll try Friday.

The best thing for attendance on Labor Day weekend is to beat Duke on the road.

Take the temperature the Boise State game. Labor Day weekend just does not work.

We are in one of the prime national TV windows to kick off the most important season in our history. One of the best brand names we have ever played at the Rent. If a P5 conference is seriously considering us, their eyes will be glued. Whatever means necessary whether it's all out media blitz or ticket discounts, Uconn should be doing every possible thing to make sure there is not an empty seat.
Anyone see this happening?

I was at the UConn/Louisville game when they were on their way to a BCS bowl. Maybe 40,000 people there in a stadium that seats 50k+.

There is far more to these decisions than what the attendance is for one game.
