They had a very good recruiting class but still are not world beaters as some thought they would be this season. I say that so that UConn fans who think next season's class will elevate UConn to an elite team should be cautious about those expectations. It may take more time than they believe.

can't be sure with the other recruits but the odds of Paige Bueckers becoming a transcendent leader and star performer for UConn are as predictable as the sun coming up tomorrow.......

Stanford has been taking this approach lately. Their best player on their volleyball team missed nearly two months of the season due for a lower leg issue, but the team or university never clarified what the injury was.

Hmm. Most "Olympic" sports at Notre Dame take this approach as well. A player could have the flu, have been suspended for a game and/or gone into witness protection and the forthcoming news is the same: crickets. I know there are some privacy issues associated with health, but the consistency from sport to sport is glaring. Muffet is pretty up front about where her players stand with injuries.

And Anna Makurat, unranked because she was outside U.S. is better than many of the highly ranked recruits, and Aubrey Griffin is much better than her bump from 33 to 21. UConn’s problem next year is getting everyone on the floor.

yes Geno is going to have to be very creative with his roster next year............I kind of like the idea of bringing in the freshmen as a B team at some point in a game when things need to be shaken up a bit...........not sure how well they will run the offense but they are going to be awfully fun on the fast break............
