Pretty sure? I saw it happen, I’ve been trying to tell you guys that he got hit in the head with a shoulder. Going framed by frame and slow motion always lessons the impact. That's what it looked like to me also. I slowed it down frame by frame and I'm pretty sure it was Lewis's shoulder and not his elbow that got Mullins in the head.
That hit on Mullins didn’t look severe. It’s not like his head jarred all that much, more like a healthy smack. Comments from his dad sounds like he’s doing fine. 2 games max.but he was wearing a helmet
Are you saying Gonzalez'z concussion was less severe than Mullins's because he had a helmet on? How would you know that? How would anyone? The severity of concussions is very hard to determine. It's not like a broken bone. My point was that they both entered concussion protocol. Gonzalez got through his in less than a week. There's no telling how long Mullins will take to get through the concussion protocol steps. And each person is different. So there is no immediate timetable when he'll be back.but he was wearing a helmet
I had to add "pretty sure" because that is what it looked like but I thought it was hard to be 100% certain. How high a probability is "pretty sure"? 95%?Pretty sure? You were right. During the game it looked like he got hit by Lewis's arm from a back swing. But he got clocked by a shoulder to the head.He got freaking clocked! You’re 100% wrong here.
Combo forearm and shoulder, flagrant when you combine the views. Back view shows a forearm shiver combined with shoulder leaning into the head. From the front looks like just the shoulder. Shoulder may have been inadvertent, forearm wasn't. Forearm brought the shoulder up into the head.
Actually there was no foul call on that play. They called the ball out of bounds off Lewis when he lost his dribble and gave the ball to UConn after the turnover. Mullins actually got credit for a steal if you can believe that. See the play by play at this link. The play was at the 17:12 mark of the second half.View attachment 116456
Right there is Lewis's left arm coming up. It was just down by his waist when he raises it. Thing is the ref is right there and even called the offensive foul, but when Lewis arm comes up it's for contact.

Concussions are very serious. I'm 47 and have been concussed maybe 7 times. Twice in football , twice skateboarding and I've been in probably 75 or so fights in my life and have taken quite a few shots to the head. I just started experiencing severe memory issues . Forgot my wife's name two times over the last few years , couldn't remember that I was at work a few months ago until I saw the deliveries in my front seat , forgot that my manager was a manager , was trying to say the word glasses but could only say the word sandals ( like 5 times in a row) and have been having a tough time remembering words. These occurrences are pretty spread out but still very scary. I have a two year girl, a wonderful life and I cams to faith about 9 years ago after a long life of recklessness, drug abuse and lots of fighting. I don't want to forget my wife, my daughter and my Lord but it seems like that's where I'm headed. Concussions are serious . Get some rest Braylon
my guess is he's playing
Yeah unless real severe it’s a week. His didn’t look severe.Samson suffered a concussion vs Gonzaga last year where it looked like he got knocked out cold. The game was on a Saturday, he missed the Xavier game on a Tuesday and then was back vs Butler on a Saturday.
I think he may play, but off the bench and limited minutes.I know flying with symptoms isn’t recommended so hoping the flight won’t induce any

I’m guessing that him even being on the flight is a good sign. He may not play but he’s got to be pretty far through the protocol if they let him on the plane.I know flying with symptoms isn’t recommended so hoping the flight won’t induce any
It's been rough 😆Bro! 75 fights? Lots of fighting is right holy hell
I lost maybe a few more than a handfulWhat's your record?
Unless he has an unexpected setback i expect him to playI’m guessing that him even being on the flight is a good sign. He may not play but he’s got to be pretty far through the protocol if they let him on the plane.
looks like the identical recovery timeline is playing out with BraylonYeah unless real severe it’s a week. His didn’t look severe.
I hope they were organized as a lightweight. If not, how is that even possible?Bro! 75 fights? Lots of fighting is right holy hell
