It was reported today that Tennessee's coach Rick Barnes inadvertently committed a minor NCAA violation by paying money out of his pocket to supplement the salary of one of his assistant coaches. Barnes claimed he was unaware that he could not do this. Barnes was told to stop, the assistant received a raise and NCAA had Barnes receive rules education and no further action.
