Maybe for Europeans...Makes sense. Why continue to play what is essentially pro ball for no money?
Wonder how much she will earn over there? Is this a trend?
That's great for her. Once you've been at UConn coupled with covid causing her to be away from home so long, I'm sure heading home looks really good.
I think Dorka will also be a one and done player and head back to Europe to play professionally. And that's all we need her for....
I doubt it will be a ton of money. As of 2019 a player with NO WNBA experience was making 6-7K a month in the top leagues like Spain and Italy. Players with that experience make about double that. Still not getting rich as the salaries are not changing much if at all. Obviously the top players like Taurasi, Maya Moore, Griner etc. can make much more. One of my favorite Huskies the past 2 years. Wish her nothing but good health, success, and a ton of money!

With no WNBA experience she won’t be getting rich on about $6K a month. And that’s in the top leagues. Hope she’s able to finish up her degree work somewhere. Good luck to her.Smart move by Anna - go after the money while you can. She has a perfect game for the Euro leagues.
