That's great for her. Once you've been at UConn coupled with covid causing her to be away from home so long, I'm sure heading home looks really good.

I think Dorka will also be a one and done player and head back to Europe to play professionally. And that's all we need her for....

I guess there are far more pro opportunities overseas and allows her to start earning money while being close to home. Seems like a good choice for a player who probably wouldn’t have made it to the WNBA. Best of luck!

Makes sense. Why continue to play what is essentially pro ball for no money?

Wonder how much she will earn over there? Is this a trend?

I, too, also think Dorka Juhasz will be at Storrs for one year only. But I'm thinking she's going to use the boot camp/training program/finishing school that is Dr. Geno's world to get her ready for professional ball. My one caveat is she may want to give the WNBA a try, as well. And UConn gets another long, rangy, surprisingly athletic forward to throw at the world for a season.

Just have her work on her FT shooting..it's regressed (badly) every year.
(I've watched her quite a bit on the B1G network).

Oh, btw, good luck to Anna, as well. I liked her game and her spirit while she was both on and off the court. Seems like a good egg. Go get 'em in Europe!

Damn, I was really hoping she would end up at Colorado. I wish her great success in Europe but will miss seeing her play. Her backward pass to CW remains my all time favorite play in UConn history.

One of my favorite Huskies the past 2 years. Wish her nothing but good health, success, and a ton of money!
I doubt it will be a ton of money. As of 2019 a player with NO WNBA experience was making 6-7K a month in the top leagues like Spain and Italy. Players with that experience make about double that. Still not getting rich as the salaries are not changing much if at all. Obviously the top players like Taurasi, Maya Moore, Griner etc. can make much more.
