Angel looks physically like a WNBA player already. Her size and athleticism is unique for a college freshman. I’m still not a fan of her attitude and think that could be an issue down the road for her. But I hate for an injury for any kid like this. Hope she recovers quickly!
Ok, what is the supporting evidence you have of this? I am only aware of the negativity an opposing coach directed at her due to the losses that coach was receiving. Chloe Pavlich our former intern and Maryland star came to Angel's defense on this and spoke glowingly of Angel. That alone is good enough for me. So if you have evidence or can cite examples, please come forth, otherwise this is just rumor mongering.

I agree that Reese has a pretty high ceiling and hopefully this injury won't prevent her (for long) from growing towards it. Good luck to her.

However, a look at Maryland season's stat sheet shows that Brenda has been splitting minutes at the forward, forward/guard slots. My guess is either Mimi Collins (from Tennessee) or Faith Masonius (from Manasquan High in Jersey) will move into the starting role, with the other first off the bench. Mimi's more of true forward while Masonius is something of a Swiss Army knife. Miller, Owosu and Bibby all the boards hard, as well.

Transfer guard Katie Benzan doesn't seem to come of the game much, with Mikesell now on the Left Coast.
On the other hand, why should she? Averaging just shy of 20.0 ppg on 61% overall shooting, with 58% from three point land (!).
Mimi Collins has been less than ordinary so far. Maybe starting will light a fire under her. Masonius probably is suited to the 6th player role.

Her shooting percentage is 44%, which is not great, but she has gotten 22 rebounds off the bench. (Team leaders are at 29/28). Once again, don't see her being Angel Reese, but if she can turn into a solid rebounder and paint presence, others can pick up the scoring slack. I've only seen one game and she was, well, ok, but then again that's what Maryland was, having undergone a personnel/ personality transfusion over the off-season!
