I think he will be a stud. Maybe not a great scorer but great in every other facetGIVE THEM HELL!!!
BEST OF LUCK ANDRE!!!
Man, I really hope so. I absolutely love the kid but I'm bracing for him being a second round pick. I desperately hope a team has fallen in love with him enough as a player and person that they use a first round pick on him and we see him get some serious playing time next season.Close call. Scouts and GMs are pretty mixed. It's a cliche that you only need one team to fall in love though, and he's the type that will definitely get somebody to fall in love.
Andre Jackson should be a case study for recruiting
Came in with some weaknesses, was properly utilized to highlight his skill set, and even though he vocally mentioned a desire to stay, Hurley practically forced him to explore the option because it was better for Andre, even at the detriment of UConn/Hurley
Think about how rare that is in today’s game. How many times has Boehiem absolutely bashed a player for leaving or transferring.
Textbook development and high integrity help from Hurley on this decision
I want him to go wherever the top pick goes. Lob city!!!!I think Portland would be happy if he fell to 43, though they already have Matisse Thybulle. If they don't keep him Andre could have a chance at some minutes.
We all know Hurley pushed Andre to go for the right reasons as it was the correct thing for Hurley to do, which is put Andre's best interests first. Having said that, it's a great recruiting tool as well that Kimani Young, Tom Moore, and Luke Murray can speak to in their recruiting trips-Hurley will always put the player's best interest above his own.Andre Jackson should be a case study for recruiting

I would LOVE Andre at #35, as a Celtics fan. That would make up for recent events.per Woj story on espn Andre had individual workouts with
Portland: #23, #43
Boston: #35
Atlanta: #46
Brooklyn: #21, #22, #51
Indiana: #26, #29, #32, #55
Defensively and on the boards he has a chance to be a Rodman 2.0.I think he will be a stud. Maybe not a great scorer but great in every other facet
He’s my personal all time favorite UConn player. Great leader, highly athletic, total class and love how he took over leadership after 8 players left last year.He might be the guy I enjoyed watching play the most out of any Husky. Also seems like a great kid. Best of luck Andre
Exactly my thoughts about his love of UConn. I suspect he wanted to come back but I think Hurley pushed him to pursue his dream now because it might be his best shot. There’s alot of love and respect between them.Kid loves the school so much. Prob knew the decision a while ago & still took some convincing to pull the trigger.
A true situation of knowing what you should do, but it still is tough to do. Speaks to kid’s character that making millions is the tough thing to do
Perfectly stated!!Heart of a lion.. A Champion's will.. God-given creativity and athleticism.. Have never seen a college athlete with such modest statistics impact a game in such a dramatic way ..Game after game..
Go do your thing and never look back.. We've got your back--Andre..
Knock down shooter? I mean he did say everything you'd wantAndre Jackson is emblematic of everything you want in a kid that puts on the Connecticut uniform.
There's too many superlatives and clichés that Andre fulfills... where to begin?
Selfless, team-first, hard-working gym rat. Does all of the little things on the court and many spectacular things as well.
Makes winning plays.
Uber-athlete.
Tremendous leader.
Captain.
Champion.
UConn Legend.
