Relevant because according to Syracuse fans, the only reason Dan Hurley was able to secure a commit from Andre Jackson was promising his brother a scholarship as well.

Two D1 basketball players. Parents must be so jacked up! Congrats Marcus. Kid is actually a stud and could play at a higher level.

As a senior at Albany Academy, Jackson averaged 27.9 points, eight rebounds, 9.2 assists and 5.7 steals per game.

He is walking on to UAlbany… kid put up great numbers.

From the pic, he has much better form on his J than his older brother does.

.-.
I love how he turned down UMass to go to Albany.

Another fun fact: Cam Reddish's little brother plays for Albany.

From the pic, he has much better form on his J than his older brother does.
Yeah he has a way more conventional game but without the size and athleticism

Not everyone is good enough to earn a D1 scholarship.
Those are some impressive high school stats and Albany is at the low end of D1. There's D1 and then there's "D1!!!".

.-.
Former UConn Ollie-era assistant Dwayne Killings is the head coach at Albany too, for another little UConn connection. Hope they both have a lot of success up there.

DK is having problems in Albany. Could be out in a matter of days.
