There's no way I can justify leaving a guy who averaged 29/7/7 off of even the 3rd or 2nd team All-NBA when he carried his team to the playoffs while leading the league in MPG, no matter how bad his defense. People get caught up in circle jerking about guys who don't play D but there isn't a team in the NBA that wouldn't want Harden, offense trumps defense by a mile in this league, the best guys do both.Harden played 0 defense, his team was mediocre, and he came into the season out of shape and more or less because of that his coach got fired. His 3pt shooting was down to average and turnovers were up.
Good numbers otherwise, but definitely easier when you're only playing 1/2 the court. By sheer offensive numbers, you could have given it to him over Lowry or Dame, just depends how much you want to factor in all the other stuff.
