Didn't know she had entered Transfer Portal.

The prodigal daughter returns. I didn’t even know she was looking to transfer. Well, the writing was on the wall. Her PT at MS St was going to be limited at best. I guess we’ll see her again at UConn after all when the Huskies face the Pirates.

Do you think with the benefit of hindsight she wishes she tried a lot harder to actually listen to UConn's coaches and do what she had been told?
I don't. I wish her well but she is quite the vagabond.
She departed Ossining for Blair Academy and then returned to Ossining for her senior year.
Upon her departure from UCONN she expressed regret at not taking her time to visit some other schools in the recruiting process and was to enroll in community college to further her education. She did neither.
Upon her departure from Mississippi State her stated reason was "due to COVID-19 concerns" and she said that she would be "cheering for Mississippi State". 3 Colleges and 2 HS in case anyone is keep track.

So we will probably play against her at some point. Just curious. Any other UConn transfers we wound up playing against and how did they do??

Samarie Walker transferred to Kentucky and faced UCONN in the tourrnament twice 2012 & 13. Walker led Kentucky in scoring in 2012 with 14 points in a 15 point UCONN win. The next year Samarie didn't make out so well. In what Mitchell dubbed "40 minutes of dread" she score 2 points in 23 minutes in a 30 point UCONN BEAT DOWN!

Well, we can only wish AEH well in her last year of WBB eligibility at Seton Hall. She will end up playing along side one of her High School Teammates (Kailah Harris), as well as being able to play against another former High School Teammate (Aubrey Griffin) twice next season.

My thought is whether she is immediately eligible? Seems like the NCAA allows every player is immediately eligible to play as long as it's not at UConn.

Very doubtful since she was already enrolled at Mississippi State this semester.

I’m sure she does. You can’t tell me she’s happy with the way her college career turned out. She got a huge break when she transferred to Miss St., was granted a waiver and was allowed to play immediately.

I was aware that she had opted out of this year’s play, but like others here, was not aware she wanted to leave. A new coach coming in that did not recruit her, and bringing in her own players, AEH could very easily read the writing on the wall and do the simple math = she didn't fit in. :(

Interesting that she didn't follow Vic Schaefer to Texas. We'll never know, but it could be she did not wish to go, or she was not offered an invitation. Good luck to Andra this season. Good for her she was able to find a landing spot close to home. The Seton Hall campus is only a 59 minute drive (per Google maps) from her Ossining NY home. That means family and friends can easily attend all of her home games.
