Caroline is indeed a point guard and has been throughout her career at UConn. Only during her freshman year did she play off the ball significantly. Playing that position is an opportunity to break in to the college game at a more manageable pace. Before her second ACL she was scheduled to attend the pg camp. Just because she was once a 2 in high school doesn't mean she still is. In 2010-11 she played pg throughout the year. She has the requisite skills, she organizes the team well. Like it or not today Caroline is a pg. Bria is best when playing the 2 an d Breanna is not despite her tremendous skills a pg and her skills are needed elsewhere anyway. Geno has said numerous times he prefers "guards" who can share responsibilities at the point as the offense rotates.Morons know not what they say. Bria, Caroline, and Brianna are not point guards. They became point guards out of necessity and damn good it you ask me. Playing point guard is the toughest position on the floor, since you are in command. There was nothing in their backgrounds to prepare them for the job; they're learning as the play. Those three are the least of our worries. As for Breanna, when she becomes one of the greatest women's college basketball players ever, your tweeter is going to have to eat his words.
