Not a Chelski fan; but was hoping to see Matt Miazga listed on the game day roster for the Man U match; but, no joy. I may be being too hopeful for such a big match; but, I want to see him on the pitch soon and not riding the bench.

Ok, this will probably become a regular deal, so this is the last time I'll mention it; Pulisic came on in the last 20 minutes against John Brooks and Berlin.

What does this mean?

What does this mean?

With him being added to the Europa League roster, and making two straight appearances in league, it seems like he'll be playing regulary. Probably no need to post it anymore.

Now he just needs some goals or some assists to push himself to the next level.

In Bundesliga 2 this week (Friday, Feb 5) Bobby Wood scored the tying goal for Union Berlin in the 86th minute away at Kaiserslautern. (edited to link to a better video)

Fabian Johnson scored for -Gladbach in a loss to Hamburg on Saturday. In Bundesliga 2 Bobby Wood scored again this week as his Union Berlin won 3-0 against 1860 München. Nice run! and he gets an enthusiastic greating from Union's mascot "Ritter Keule":

Pulisic in Dortmund's starting 11 v. Leverkusen today. He should get some quality minutes against a quality opponent. With Dortmund safely anchored in 2nd place (they're not catching Bayern, and have a 10 point cushion over Leverkusen) it affords them the chance to play some younger talent. It's a big game for Leverkusen, battling to hold on to that 3rd spot in Bundesliga, so much to play for.

Bobby Wood (again) and Julian Green scoring this weekend.
Bobby Wood got back onto the pitch this weekend and scored the game winner for his 1. FC Union Berlin in the 2. Bundesliga.
FC Bayern München II started their spring season this weekend with a win led by two Julian Green goals.

Thanks, Samcro. The match reports on that game show it was a heck of match. Johnson saved a point for 'Gladbach away in Augsburg at the end of a wild five minute period early in the second half.

Is Pulisic injured? He's not on their 18 man roster today, or the last game either.

Pulisic is not injured. Apparently Dortmund's plans for Pulisic's development call for him to continue playing with the U19's so he can play 90 minutes to stay sharp, rather than playing just occasional short periods with the first team - especially when, like this weekend, they were up against Bayern München. He is still listed as on the first team roster, but has played a full 90 in the last two U19 games. In today's game against the Schalke 04 juniors he scored one of Dortmund's 8 goals. Dortmund's U19s compete in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga Staffel West.

Something seems to be working out for Bobby Wood at 1. FC Berlin. He scored two more goals in their 4-0 win on Saturday. Wood now has 12 goals for the 2015/2016 Second Bundesliga season and five in the last four games since the winter break.

He's tied Wynalda's Bundesliga scoring record now.

To be fair to Wynalda the majority of Wood's goals in Germany have been in the second division, 2. Bundesliga, the rest in the fourth division, Regionalliga Bayern (ior Regionalliga Süd before the last reorganisation). Some of Wynalda's were first division and others in the second as his teams, Saarbrücken and Bochum, were promoted and/or relegated. Do you have the details on how many goals he scored at the top level?

I don't, I just saw the comment on twitter, so I figured it must be true:)

Bobby Woods kept up his scoring knack today in the Second Bundesliga. His team, 1. FC Berlin lost 2-1, but their one score came on a penalty that Wood took.
