Yes he does, he's totally gassed. If you shoot over 50% from three in high school you have a perimeter game.
Based upon what I've seen of the kid and the fact that he shot 33% in AAU ball, I don't trust that 50% number.

I think Alterique is going to be very good, but I think he's going to have a Jalen-esque learning curve.

If he's not Michael Jordan next year some will be disappointed considering Drummond was a no impact player
I'd settle for Jr. year Kemba. Is that too unrealistic?

Agree here. Hope I'm wrong, but 50% just sounds too good to be true.

Yeah he's not gonna be a killer 3 pt shooter, but didnt Jalen shoot something like 20% from 3? I think he is a better shooter than that. Jalen is a better passer though, it seems

He pushed it to 28% by the end of the season by going 7-for-12 from 3 over the year's final 10 games (including the miracle vs. Cincy).

I don't think he became a better or luckier shooter down the stretch - I think he just took better shots. That was the issue for Hamilton and, to a lesser extent, Purvis as well.

My guess is Jalen shoots somewhere around 35% next year. That number will go higher if Alterique is able to take more of the load as PG, allowing Jalen to play off-the-ball and feast on kick-outs.

What have you seen of him?

I think he has better passing skills than jalen from seeing him the past 3 games . I think jalen will be the 2 and him the 1 as he has better handle form what I saw.

I didn't see many assists, granted it's probably b/c his team wasn't as talented as the others, but Jalen had some great passes and some high assist games late in the year

Honestly they are pretty interchangeable. I think ja can finish in traffic better, while Albert seems to be quicker with a tighter dribble.

Ok, sure. He is a great looking player, attacks the glass and makes FTs

He's usually a great shooter, as evident by his shooting stats. Stop judging based on 2 games coming off 2 hours sleep

Yeah, I mean the guy went 226/422, or 54%, for his career in high school from 3. I don't expect him to maintain that when he gets to college, but he's not going be sub-30% his freshman year like Jalen Adams was.

Yeah he can't keep up that percentage, I feel like he will be a streaky shooter and shoot mid to high 30's on threes. He really is sooo quick though, Boatright type quickness
