2. 1991: First McD's AA of the Calhoun era (Donyell), another top 20 (Rudy) and a top 50 (Fair), 2 more top-100s (KO & Ashmeade), and a 3-star big (Bu)
1. 2000: 2 McD's AA, an even bluer blue-chipper in Caron, the JuCo player of the year, and 3-star depth player (Tooles)

Our 2016 class is possibly No. 5 for the "on paper" Olympics, trailing the four above and the 2006 group. Our 2017 class - if we land Diallo, Brown, MAL, Samuels and William - probably moves up to No. 1 all-time.


He'd probably be a top-20, no-doubt-about-it 5-star without the injuries. Not quite a one-and-done type, because he's raw (like a bigger Stanley or DeAndre).

Donny Marshall was also in that 1991 class. Also Calhoun's son Jeff

Amazing looking back on that spring and how upset everyone on here was that we settled for those guys instead of getting Doron Lamb, Josh Selby, CJ Leslie, Brandon Knight, or Cory Joseph. I think our guys did just fine.
