None of Jim Calhoun teams ever had a power forward as good as Toby Kimball -not even close.

He averaged (career average) over 18 points and 17 rebounds a game.

Yes when the NBA was half the size it is now.

Kimball did grab 900 rebounds in an 81 game ABA season.

BTW, name all the Huskies power forward with better NBA stats.

Agree with you on Kimball. I actually saw him play. Prior to the NC years, that 1964/65 team may have been Uconn's best.

I was supporting you Pal, not disputing you.

If we go by college stats, Art Quimby has him beat.

To me, we have five guys who were consensus first-team AA's who were all top three in the National POY voting: Kemba, Ray, Rip, Donyell, Emeka.

But I'd be ok with Kimball for Donyell, to spread out the generational representation.

I agree with your starting lineup. But I would take Jake over Thabeet any day of the week.

This thread is interesting........

You can read peoples ages by the voting and there are just so many good players who have passed through, especially in the JC era, that it's hard to be "wrong"!!

Lol at giffey, but I agree with most of your other picks. And Ricky Moore was a PG for the most part if I'm not mistaken. Don't forget Cliff Robinson though.
