Shocker!

Good for Bria, though. Wish she could have stayed home for school.

she wasn't offered
I know. Hence "could have" instead of "would have." I think she would have jumped on a UConn offer if she'd received one.

okay? He has Stokes and now is bringing in Stewart
i think the point may have been that while Geno likes versatile players, KML, Bree, and Morgan have a "similar" type game to Bria Holmes. not that they play exactly the same way, but he was also after Xylena - between KML, Morgan and Bree, the 3,4 spots are completely covered, and if he added Xylena, that's another body in there.

Bria Holmes just doesn't appear as talented as the above trio, and when you consider Diamond and Taya, from 2013, are likely more talented, i'm not surprised. sure i'd have loved to see her at UCONN, but (and i mean no disrespect to Heather), if she'd end up buried deep on the bench like Heather, i'm not sure it was the right place for her, regardless of her Connecticut roots...

Without looking it up, I'm assuming Tennessee's 2008 class had four McDs AAs

I don't understand your point. In what way did the UConn staff not pay attention? From all accounts, Geno and his staff took a long, hard look at Holmes and decided not to extend an offer. What exactly was deserving of more attention?

Yes-Stricklen, Johnson, Gray, Manning and Brewer

Also Rutgers had 4 in that same year: Sykes, Speed, Pope and Dixon

Also wasn't Tennessee's class with Parker, Anosicke, Wiley-Gatewood and Hornbuckle another?

Not sure if it was the Mickey D's game, but I think our entire would-be class of 2002 made it: Ann, Nicole, Barb, Wilnett, and Gillian.

It is hard to say that ANY 3-player class is better than the 5-player TASSK group, but I'll say these:

This is our best 3-person class ever.

This may be the most talented group of 3 in any class.

Actually, I really liked the group of 3 from 2007: Maya Moore, Lorin Dixon, and Kathryn Moore.

"Rounding out the East teams are: Stewart, a 6-2 forward from Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, N.Y.); Brianna Butler, a 5-11 guard from Nazareth Regional (Brooklyn, N.Y.);..."

OMG she shrunk!!! We don't want her now!!! Come November she might be down to 6 feet!

:p
