I think as pumped up as the fans are, Hurley is just as pumped. AK returning is like having another coach, one who can be on the floor and help teach many of those plays. Also, he's a good example of a guy who can pass and who catches the ball and doesn't hold it for too long to stunt the offence. I think that could have been a problem early on in the next season. A lot of new young blood who has to learn a lot going forward. I think his return will help so much.

Yesssssss!!!!! Zero negatives by coming back get your degree , have a chance to make history , improve your game, Be a God on campus with the co-Ed’s and get some NIL dough. Better than wallowing on the end of the bench in Portland all year

Depending on draft decisions of course, but it looks like there’s going to be a lot of good teams next year. This year it was just UConn, Purdue and Houston that looked elite. Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor, Houston, Duke, UConn, Gonzaga and Alabama all look poised to have fantastic teams. Karaban puts us in the top half of that group.

Not that I know all the math, but this always seemed like the smart decision. Put off the dream one year and play your way into the first round. Happy for him.

And it works out pretty well for me, too.

I have no idea how we get guys playing time this year. We are loaded at the 3/4. Someone probably should have transferred.
Starters : Mahaney, Diarra , Mcneeley, Karaban, Reed

Bench Guards : Solo Ball, Nowell,
Bench forwards: Stewart, Abraham
Bench Big: Samson

Yeah minutes are tight but the team is friggin stacked. Sounds like "one of them good problems" to quote marlo stanfield

Revisionist history. Kansas, Duke, Baylor, NC, people were talking many more than 3 teams this year. We made all that talk stop, but it was more than just 3 teams.

Tourney Rotation:

Diarra 25 / Nowell 10 / Mahaney 5
Mahaney 25 / Ball 15
McNeeley 25 / Stew 10 / Ball 5
Karaban 30 / Stew 10
Reed 20 / Johnson 20

30: Mahaney / Karaban
25: Diarra / McNeeley
20: Ball / Stew / Reed / Johnson
10: Nowell

Bench: Ross / Abraham / Singare

Can put Karaban in sharpie at the 4, but the rest of the camp battles are going to be crazy to watch

Diarra/Mahaney/Ball fighting for the 2 guard spots. Mahaney will start, just TBD which spot he's at, and Nowell could even force his way into that battle too

Stewart/McNeeley for the 3 spot

Samson/Reed for the 5 spot

This team is gonna be deep, that's a legit 9 man rotation right there with a compelling case to start for basically everyone
