Not officially yet. But it seems to be most likely this year only
So like a trial run and see how it goes?

His other top offers were St John's, UMass, and Iona. Not a ton of interest coming out of HS8:30ish bedtimes? What kind of coach does that?
How did he end up at Illinois anyway? I wonder what other schools heavily recruited him.

One who wants to win and help get kids to the next level? Because you probably got 5am lift before class.
Yes. Although you could probably convince me to start him and have Gaffney come off the benchPeople think this kid would come off the bench?

We can't start 7 players...People think this kid would come off the bench?
I don't view Jackson as a starter currently so that's not the caseI don't think the issue is Griffin vs. Gaffney, it's Griffin vs. Jackson. Just by looking at his numbers, I think Griffin would start over Gaffney.

He's transferring to be a starter somewhere I'd imagine. He was a bench guy for Illinois. You act like the guy was a 20 ppg scorer. He scored 8 ppg, albeit efficiently, and the reports are that he was not very good defensively which limited his PT. We all know that won't fly with Hurley.
For him to start, he'd have to beat out Jackson, Polley, and maybe Nolley if we get him. I honestly think he seems like a better fit as a scorer off the bench.

Science is still emerging on this, but it seems like it would be terrible for biorhythms if you're playing 7-8pm games.
It makes sense with his brother going there but this kid can actually start and be a very effective player at 95% of other schools, he'd be a backup at DukeHave a feeling this is Duke unfortunately, fills the O'Connell transfer.
None at all so farAny proof we have actually reached out/are recruiting him?
That kid Jake on Twitter, of Cardwell fame, tweeted a list of the schools involved then deleted all the tweets 15 minutes later. Strange.None at all so far

Jake doesn't know squat, everThat kid Jake on Twitter, of Cardwell fame, tweeted a list of the schools involved then deleted all the tweets 15 minutes later. Strange.
This is not emerging, it is well established science. If you play evening games, you ought to have a 4-hour shifted circadian rhythm such that an evening 7-9 pm game feels to your body like 3-5 pm. That means no significant physical activity or blue light exposure before noon.
5 am weightlifting would be catastrophically bad scheduling. Players ought to wear blue blocking glasses for morning classes and have bright 5000K white light bulbs in the evening in their dorms. Practice in afternoons or evenings.
