Wasn’t that the game when Anderson was ‘onions’Time really does fly. Feels like yesterday watching the 04 squad dominate Alabama with BG going berserk, I remember exactly where I was etc. Can't wait to replicate that feeling saturday night!

You kinda suck.Exactly! We're a top notch basketball program. We're not losing to a football school. This game won't be close.

I’m begging for the doom and gloom. There will be plenty of time and space after games are done.MOJO people MOJO..
There is not enough doom and gloom on this board regarding this game and it’s making me nervous.
These people absolutely do not watch basketball
I'm kind of the opposite. I'd like to hold them to about 40. 68-40 seems about right. Just take their vaunted offense and throttle it, drop it the floor and stomp until it stops moving.I want to put up 120 on this team just to show the clowns that think we can't run with them what we can do.
122-64 sounds like a nice final score.

Teams are shooting 18-70 (25.7%) on 3s against us this tourney and that number includes the 3s made when the foot was off the gas. So many talking heads this week pegging Alabama's 3PT shooting against us as a key for them to win and touting their ability to shoot the three successfully. Northwestern was the 7th best 3PT shooting team during this past regular season at 39.0% and they shot 5-22 (22.7%). Stetson was 63rd at 35.9% and they shot 3-20 (15.0%). Illinois was 128th at 34.9% and they shot 6-23 (26.1%). Alabama was 21st at 37.1%, do they really believe the result will be any different in their case? It's not the 3's, imo. You look at that Bama shot chart and they have all these red dots under hoop, hardly any red circles. That's not happening to UConn.
It’s 88%. I looked it up.Let's see their 3 point percentage in a football stadium
I believe AW has to post those comments per the Judge mojo hangings. You kinda suck.
Same with the threes. They blitzed Syracuse in the sweet sixteen and we turned the tables on them in the elite eightTwenty years ago Bama was woofing that they could outrun us. They could not.
LOL!! Have they ? Not even a little. Raw points per possession for their opponents ? 1.31, 0.86, 1.21 and 1.15. Average of 1.133
That was 2004 and said about Georgia Tech. There was a quote by Calhoun one time. I can only paraphrase. “ They want to run with us. We’ll show them about running”
And where is this "Uconn's not tall" idiocy coming from ? On average, taller than Alabama. UConn's guards are bigger than Alabama's and our guards rebound the ish out of the ball. Pringle is the only guy on Alabama in the top 500 in rebound rate. UConn has Clingan, Johnson, Newton, and Castle, and Spencer just led the team in rebounds against Illinois.
Add this to the wall of disrespect. Castle the 13th of 20 FF starters:
| Player | EvanMiya BPM | Player | EvanMiya BPM |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1) Zach Edey | 11.73 | 8) Hassan Diarra | 6.69 |
| 2) Donovan Clingan | 10.91 | 8) Aaron Estrada | 6.69 |
| 3) Braden Smith | 8.37 | 10) Mark Spears | 6.38 |
| 4) Tristen Newton | 8.07 | 11) Lance Jones | 6.13 |
| 5) Stephon Castle | 7.54 | 12) Mason Gillis | 5.77 |
| 6) Cam Spencer | 7.52 | 13) Fletcher Loyer | 5.40 |
| 7) Alex Karaban | 6.99 | 14) Rylen Griffen | 5.32 |
football school.
You're cool!You kinda suck.
You have to understand. This is the fanbase we're talking about here. For sure, this hillbilly has been kicked in the head by a mule before, right?
Rashad went berserk, Taliek with 10 assists, and the best part may have been Okafor's left handed block.Time really does fly. Feels like yesterday watching the 04 squad dominate Alabama with BG going berserk, I remember exactly where I was etc. Can't wait to replicate that feeling saturday night!
And Okafor only played for the first 40 seconds of the 2nd half until Calhoun decided to rest him for his back injury.Rashad went berserk, Taliek with 10 assists, and the best part may have been Okafor's left handed block.
So by the "tournament span" does Torvik mean only the teams that played in the NCAA or NIT. If that is the case #53 is not at all impressive. They gave up 96 to Charleston (average 80), 87 to UNC (average 81.5, and 82 to Clemson (average 77.4). Their defensive masterpiece was giving up 61 to 12 seed Grand Canyon (average 79.8) and this was Charles Barkley's quote regarding the GCU's offense "I’m not sure what they were doing offensively, I don’t think they ran a play in the entire second half… That was some of the dumbest basketball I’ve ever seen grown college men play. They're right to think their defense in the tournament has been better.
On Torvik, they're #117 in defensive efficiency for the season. For the tournament span, they're #53.
Better, but still not amazing.
My bad.I believe AW has to post those comments per the Judge mojo hangings.
That was the dagger 3 against Washington to force OT in 2006Wasn’t that the game when Anderson was ‘onions’
Of course they're higher, there are no losses in the calculation. They're right to think their defense in the tournament has been better.
