I know it's just the eye test, but I really doubt Akok 195, he does need to get bigger. But his skill alone puts him in another tier than our bigs.It might have something to do with the fact that he's listed at 195 lbs?

We've seen a lot of kids with "skills" fizzle at many programs so until he steps on the court and plays against guys who are bigger, stronger and quicker I will reserve comments of his skills. Tall kids in HS look better against the comp.I know it's just the eye test, but I really doubt Akok 195, he does need to get bigger. But his skill alone puts him in another tier than our bigs.
Has been around the team? Work outs? Practices? What are the rules with this?
Thank you!I work on campus. I've been told he cannot participate in any way until he starts classes; I was also told last week that he is not expected to arrive on-campus until weekend of January 19/20; classes begin on January 22. He is still classified as a recruit until he attends classes.
Thats because I play with a chip on my shoulder.
Is it a 200 lb chip? Because that would explain your lack of vertical.
I can get 3 inches off the ground.
But my elbows can reach the jaw of a 6' 8" player
He needs a minimum of 6 months with Sal before I'm comfortable with that.
He is 6'10" and 195
I'm 6'2" and 198.....either I'm super fat or he is super thin
I play with Kevlar shoulder pads in case I get shot...Yea CP stuff...LOLThats because I play with a chip on my shoulder.
Weird way of saying "I agree," but ok.We've seen a lot of kids with "skills" fizzle at many programs so until he steps on the court and plays against guys who are bigger, stronger and quicker I will reserve comments of his skills. Tall kids in HS look better against the comp.
I do agree, he probably is better than anyone we can throw into the 5 or big 4 spots right now
I wish MD would come back from the injury status
Diarra most likely won't play basketball anymore, his knees are shot. He's not 195 any more. 205+ about a month ago. Still has chicken legs
Goal is 220 by next year. Concerns about injury. Has wonky running form and some weird mobility issues.
Between him and polley, should have shooters at the 4 spot, which is good. Hopefully appealing to a grad big man

I thought he was expected to return later this month or early next, no? Did a recent re-evaluation conclude otherwise, or are you speculating?
