I have two close friends who went to Cuse and they just shake their heads at the blinders that most Cuse fans wear and their overall knowledge of anything related to basketball outside of Cuse

I did the BET for 10 straight years at least and I always found Cuse fans in person to be more level-headed than other fanbases. Quite apart from their message board warriors.

The Georgetown fans sneered at everyone.
The Hall fans wanted to fight.
The WV fans provided entertainment.
The Louisville fans were back in Louisville.
Notre Dame was kinda like Georgetown except they were also wondering why they were there.
And worst of all--by far the worst fanbase--the Pitt fans who were just obnoxious and uppity and mostly went home with their tails wagging between their legs.

Were it not for the BET, I would have never developed a total hatred of Pitt basketball.

I agree with that. I had quite the episode with some Pitt fans at 2002 BET.

I second this...and as much as uconn /cuse dislike each other. The fans of both teams are verryyyy similar.

So your one example from his freshman season is a game in which he played 23 minutes and had 4 points and 9 rebounds is evidence that he's never had that production while at Syracuse?

Aside from nearly going blind 2 years ago and making a comeback last season, 30 seconds of research showed me that Chukwu had 14 and 9 vs. Wake Forest, and then had 6 & 10 vs. TCU in the NCAA Tournament last year. Seems more "productive" than the Butler game in 2015. I'm not saying Chukwu is Anthony Davis, but your argument is lazy and ill-informed.

Chukwu has never been offensively talented. He was recruited out of HS by PC, UConn, and SU, simply because he is 7'2 and can block shots and get rebounds. I expect him to be better this season after basically missing 2 years with the transfer and serious (almost career-ending) eye injury.

Since we are talking about Butler and Syracuse, I remember a really funny story about when a #1 seed Syracuse team lost to Butler in the Sweet 16 in 2010. It was even funnier when # 3 seed Syracuse teams lost to #11 seeds Marquette and Dayton in 2011 and 2014, respectively. Who won those championships in 2011 and 2014?
