Not sure if anyone else read this but imo this reporter should be hung lol
I am not even going to read it because I am already in the habit of ignoring anything from Athlon Sports. I think they are in bankruptcy if I am not mistaken and they will put any stupid content no matter how untrue or how much of an exaggeration it is to get clicks. Not sure if anyone else read this but imo this reporter should be hung lol
Athlon sports is a joke. one time they went on an on3 message board and claimed that they had sources when they wrote the article, but it was a clear copy from the message board. Not sure if anyone else read this but imo this reporter should be hung lol
Yeah, that 1 pt. per game is going to be impossible to replace. As the Huskies prepare for the future, questions abound about how they will fill the void left by Nowell, who joins fellow recruit Isaiah Abraham in leaving the program.
That's pretty funny.
The author is Canadian. Must be a Syracuse fan.
Nope. Can only play in 8 or 10 games, total, to get a medical redshirt. He played in 18 games.Does Nowell qualify for a redshirt? The shoulder injury is out in the open now so maybe he should/ should’ve. I don’t know the amount of minutes / games needed to qualify.
The article appears to have been written by a huge Nowell fan. And not written well. Not sure if anyone else read this but imo this reporter should be hung lol

honestly, canadian, genius, axe to grind, hates UConn and crappy member of the media.... Probably is a syracuse gradAs the Huskies prepare for the future, questions abound about how they will fill the void left by Nowell, who joins fellow recruit Isaiah Abraham in leaving the program.

They were "flashes" so you had to film in slow motion mode so on playback you'd see them. The article appears to have been written by a huge Nowell fan. And not written well.
And where were there "flashes of brilliance?"
no more than 40% of games, none in second half of season, used to be the rule, might be updated, not sureDoes Nowell qualify for a redshirt? The shoulder injury is out in the open now so maybe he should/ should’ve. I don’t know the amount of minutes / games needed to qualify.
That is absolutely embarrassing.Athlon Sports is a weird platform, last year they had a "writer" write some fake expose on the University of Colorado football, claiming that they had a rampant gun problem within the team, and when the writer was pressed to provide evidence he pointed to a vlog in which the defensive backs were asked who had the best "straps", i.e. best coverage skills. The writer interpreted "straps" as slang for guns(strapped) when anyone who follows football knows straps used in that context means coverage skills.
AI should replace people like this
It very much read like the most generic summarization possible.I'm 90% sure this was written by AI and the author just took credit
Yeah, I think "flashes of good play" is about as much as you could say.The article appears to have been written by a huge Nowell fan. And not written well.
And where were there "flashes of brilliance?"
Definitely. I mean, if he stayed, you're obviously hoping for a big jump in year 2 and that he stays healthy. But there wasn't much from last year to give you much hope, honestly. He averaged less than 6 minutes per game in the 18 games he did play in and was ultimately a complete non-factor. 19 of his total 27 points on the season came in the 5 games against absolute garbage opponents in November.Absolutely nothing against Ahmad Nowell. But I’m pretty happy where we ended up.
How much did Tasheed pay to have that article written lmao
