Tough kid. Great attitude and a bright future. I think he'll be OK.

So it's looking like the backup next year is a true frosh or a walk on?
Talk about mismanagement of the most important position on the roster.

Let's be fair here. HCBD didn't get the starter's GF pregnant.

He needed to have recruited more bodies at the position. His first QB was a TE by his 2nd year in the program. Recruited a juco who wasn't even a full time starter. No defending how Diaco has recruited the position unless DW kills it next year and then still, where is the depth?

The mis-assessment of Davis as a QB, has killed QB depth. That is where BD failed on this. And I agree with Noey, recruiting GA hasn't helped.

Those mis-steps makes it difficult to trust BD's strong comments about Williams.

One other little nugget we all forget about with the QB spot is how does 2014/15/16 look with a healthy Casey Cochran? Probably better than 11-24. The recruiting has been suspect but we've also had some tough luck over the years at the QB spot. Throw in Endres and we've lost some of our best non-Orlovsky QBs before they really get a chance to blossom as a starter. But hey, at least we got Tim Boyle and Kivon Taylor instead of that Lagow scrub.

Best wishes to Bryant,

Judging by the play book of his life, he probably made the best calls of his short career.......college degree-health-wife-family.

Based on the challenges and beatings he took from opposing teams he faced as UConn, there won't be any blitzes that sacks his potential to be a great husband and father.
