good read on Jeff:

http://www.jsonline.com/sports/buck...ebounding-to-bucks-b99218047z1-248485341.html

here is an excerpt:
Fast forward three months, and now when Drew looks down his bench he sees Adrien sporting a Bucks uniform. Drew, who says playing with physicality has been part of his everyday speech, is overjoyed to have Adrien.

"As a coach, when I go back the next day and I'm watching film and I'm seeing what he's doing as far as how hard he's competing and the physical toughness and the physical presence that he brings, I want those kind of guys on my team all day long," Drew said.

"I think every guy on our team would admit we haven't had a pit bull on this team. Now we've got one. And that's a good feeling."

As an undersized forward, Adrien has learned to outmaneuver bigger opponents. He recognizes that battling got him into the NBA and is what he needs to do to stay there.

"That's what I have to do," Adrien said. "I have to do the dirty work, I've got to bring the energy, I have to help my teammates on and off the court, I've got to be a vocal leader. That's who I am. That's my job."

When Adrien was traded to Milwaukee, some people saw him and Ramon Sessions only as expiring contracts to dump at season's end. Now Adrien is making a case to stay and be part of the rebuild.

And unlike some other potential free agents, he says he wants to stay.

Go Jeff. All he needs is minutes to prove he can play in the League

It's seems JA gets the short end of the stick just because he's short for his position. Jeff more than holds his own when given a chance.

He's averaging 7 points and 9 rebounds in only 20 minutes a game since arriving in Milwaukee. They say you only need one elite skill to stick around in the NBA. Jeff has it.

He can carve out a career just like he can carve out space under the basket. Every day in the league he is living the dream. Good for Jeff.

Imagine if you could put his heart in AO's body.

SCREW AO

Lets get it in DD's and maybe PN's - thats what we need

Wow what great stuff from Drew on Jeff……..congrats to him for working so hard to find a niche pretty much like KO……..wonder if that's where he learned it? I'm guessing some of it comes from some good discussions in Storrs amongst the 2……..

Great article. I admit that I never thought Jeff would make it in the NBA because of his size. His real height is probably 6'5" but with long arms. He has shown how far determination can take you and like everybody here I'm thrilled for the kid. Maybe when his career is over Ollie can bring him in as a big man coach.

I too eat crow regarding Jeff's NBA career, and I'm very happy to chow down for Jeff!!!

Now if only Omar could hit a few 3's…….

I'll always remember his '09 NCAA game against Texas A&M. He couldn't miss the foul line jumper.

I remember that vividly also. The announcers were amazed, saying that A&M would live with Adrien taking those shots. We wiped the floor with them, 92-66. Jeff was 11-16 with 23 points and 8 rebounds. AJ had 27 on 8-16 shooting with 8 assists.

Adrien scored the first bucket of the game, then blocked A&M's first attempt. He grabbed a missed jumper and swung his two elbows, startling a couple of Aggies. Three possessions later, Price worked the ball in the lane to Adrien for a thunderous and uncontested dunk.

"I was very surprised after I hit the first couple jump shots, they was leaving me that open," Adrien said. "I just kept shooting and I was feeling good."

Favorite husky of all time. doesn't surprise me in the least... when the guy gets burn, he does his thing!

Highlights of his career night against the Kings... It was fun to see him get in Rudy's face after a dunk (nothing sinister he was just messing with Rudy)...Adrien is one of my all time favorite husky, hope he lands on the coaching staff after a long career in the NBA

Big Jeff A. with 10 points already in the 1st Qtr tonight. He's blowing up lately. Yo Adrien!

Pelicans announcers giving him props, with David Wesley wondering how he wasn't able to get minutes with the Bobcats.

JA killing it, blocks a shot, gathers the rebound, then throws the outlet pass to lead to the fast break layup ...then a couple of possessions later gets a steal and throws another outlet pass for the layup. Bucks are a bum squad but he can close out this season strong and hopefully parlay that into a guaranteed deal for next season somewhere.

So happy to see Jeff Adrien doing well! But while we are talking about the bucks, have you guys seen Giannis Antetokounmpo? Scary potential. Maybe him and Jeff can be the future!:D

So in some positive news today, Jeff went for another 8/8 in 22 minutes in a loss to the Wizards. 4/5 from the line. The dude really, really gets to the line and makes them count. The Bucks have to love that.

Bucks fan's don't like him taking minutes from Henson. I saw on a forum that most of the fans want him gone during their rebuild, which to me is absurd.
