Recent article on Aubrey's dad. He was a journeyman NBA player and has been coaching in the league for the past 11 years.
Nothing came easy and he's tried to pass on his work ethic and attitude to his kids:
Adrian Griffin is helping his kids reach their Division I goals
Parenting is hard -- ..." Griffin said. "I try to never judge anyone. I can only focus on what I do as a parent.
But I think I take the same approach to it that I took when I played. I just really believed, when I played, that if I worked hard and played as hard as I could, that good things would happen.
I've always kind of lived by that. So, with the kids, I always tell them that their gifts will make room for them if they put in the time and the effort.

Like father like daughter ...

Son AJ Griffin is a legit top 10 kid and chose Duke to attend next year. Too bad he didn't follow in his sisters' footsteps! His older brother is a sophomore, I think, on the Illinois hoops team...

For me, she adds so much excitement to the game. I'm just never sure what she's going to do but whatever it is I know it will be scrappy.
