Which part?

Almost all of this is public statements made by the staff or County or recruiting insiders over the course of the last year. Or who we've offered based on public/twitter info about it. I imagine you would have posted other PG's we're pursuing instead of asking the question if there were any, but there may still be one that's slipping my mind. I've watched full games on Mingo and County's teams both in high school and on the circuit (and would encourage you guys to do the same if you're interested) so I am aware of who they've been playing with - re: the combo guards comment. Mingo played with his brother and Kiyan Anthony on LuHi last year. County played with Isiah Harwell, Katrelle Harmon, and Mariano Manciel at Wasatch. Adam Finkelstein (a much smarter evaluator than me) has done several write-ups and videos on both as well. Mingo (and his trainer brother) have said publicly his aim to be OAD. Both have called themselves point guards/lead guards specifically in interviews. Additionally, On3 projects both as point guards at the next level.

The Mahaney comments are putting together multiple staff interviews over last season and drawing conclusions (we see him as a cam spencer/tristen newton combo -> we need him to have a joey california impact). The Demary comment is based on the uncertainty of him staying for 2 more years vs. 1 more based on chances of him leaving for the NBA - or I guess transferring.

I can't tell if your comment was rhetorical, but I believe that addresses what you asked.

I think you've given some folks on here the impression you're an insider. That's why he's asking.

Oh boy, I can't leave you guys alone for 2 seconds!
Well if I didn't before, I sure hope he commits here now - I get the feeling you guys want to hear it from the horse's mouth on this one, and that's likely the only way you'll hear Hurley or County confirm it
