You can have him. Runs an offense that would make Woody Hayes proud.Take him.
>>The move opens up one of the trickier jobs in college football, as BC’s location and academic standards provide challenges. Boston College’s staff salary pool is among the lowest in major college football, and BC trails ACC peers like Wake Forest in support staff infrastructure.
For athletic director Martin Jarmond, part of the pitch to prospective coaches is the school’s new $53 million indoor football facility, which they debuted in 2018. BC had long lagged in physical facilities, often busing to local schools like Bryant College to practice in bad weather. <<
We can’t afford him.
Why would we want him? He runs the same exact offense as us but with worse QBs
No on Addazio. He is not the offensive leader this team needs.
But UConn is a dead end job
If you watched BC’s offense, it wasn’t good. He relied on the run and fortunately he had AJ Dillon the past three years.
His line recruiting was good, but BC always recruits good linemen. His QB recruiting was really bad which is what frustrated BC fans. BC used to have NFL caliber QBs, but not under Addazio.
Here is his record:
7-0 vs FCS
12-1 vs non P5
23-41 vs P5
20-33 vs ACC
1-16 vs Top 25
He never had an above 0.500 record in the ACC.
Basically, Addazio won the games weaker competition, but he couldn’t beat good competition. After 7 years of mediocrity it was time to move on.
1 losing season in 7 years.
I think most BC fans would be happy with averaging 7 wins per season as long as there were some 9 win+ seasons on occasion.BC is a 6-7 win program. It's just what they are at this point. Anything better is an outlier. Addazio performed to reasonable expectations.
Addazzio has only negative things to say about UConn.
BC used to have NFL caliber QBs, but not under Addazio.
