This kid is an Angel Delgado clone. Delgado was a beast of a player at Seton Hall who gobbled up every rebound. Sanogo will be a monster on the boards and while not a high flier he seems like he'll probably be a little bouncier/more fluid athletically than Delgado.

Makes our obsession with Cliff seem a little silly now, Adama ate Cliff's lunch when they went head to head.

To me Adama is that player we've craved for a while. Theres nothing crazy fancy about his game, but if you get him the ball down low he will go up and dunk it instead of trying to do some soft lay up around the rim. Can NOT wait for this.

Angel Delgado looks like a fair ceiling for Sanogo, @superjohn. He's got that size/body frame comparison. Also, both players are born internationally who finished up his high school ball in New Jersey.

Funny thing about Delgado, he was college teammates with Ismael Sanogo (no relation, I believe).

Loved this quote from the Hartford Courant story: "Sanogo is a monster on the boards and over-powered Rutgers-bound big man Cliff Omoruyi of Roselle Catholic in several meetings this season, and should provide toughness and a low-post force as the Huskies move back to the Big East..."

We are finally in a position to have practices that make our big guys better.

Carlton, Brown-Ferguson, Sanogo, Springs, Whalley and, eventually, Akok going up against each other every day should make for great practices. It should help them all. Games should seem much easier.

Like our Bigs..No need for Cliff or Jonathan K..

I've seen a number of Oriakhi comps and I would be ecstatic if that were the case. Alex has his issues but some of them were not entirely under his control (dad). He was a *very* good player for us and I think we tend to forget that, for understandable reasons

The BY’s obsession with Cliff was silly even before we got Sanogo. Anyone who has seen him in person knows he was not the guy to put us over the top.

Sanogo is THAT. A true big with great rebounding abilities and a soft touch around the rim. Just what we’ve been missing.

Was watching Draymond Green highlights from 2011 after watching a lot of The Patrick School's games

Disagree. Kuminga is the best player in ‘21. We’d take him in a heartbeat. Also Kuminga is a SG/SF
We're set with AJ/TM at SF.. Kuminga isn't a roster fit.. Going G League anyway
