I think this is the closest we're ever going to get to seeing @triaddukefan have anything nice to say about Banghart.
That wasn't my intention

Put me in the same bucket. Had no idea that it was an Atlanta ‘burb and I can read maps. It sounds like a back country town, but it wouldn’t make sense to have a tournament there. 😆She didn’t say Atlanta. She sad Duluth. I know where Atlanta is (generally), but I’ve never heard of Duluth and therefore its association with Atlanta. I guess we’re co idiots. 😆
For half a second when I heard it I was like "why are they playing the tournament in Minnesota?!"She didn’t say Atlanta. She sad Duluth. I know where Atlanta is (generally), but I’ve never heard of Duluth and therefore its association with Atlanta. I guess we’re co idiots. 😆
Careful Scarecrow, you're playing with fire...Baylor, WVU, USF, Clemson and UNC all had less All-Americans than you and yet....It's about time. They have more talent than over half the teams in this Conference
In fairness, I suspect "scarecrow" would be at the very front of the line of people that think there's no way in he11 Duke should have lost that game to WVU...Careful Scarecrow, you're playing with fire...Baylor, WVU, USF, Clemson and UNC all had less All-Americans than you and yet....
There really wasn't a good reason; WVU was down to 5 bench players and Duke had its whole team available. It was a remarkable win for WVU.In fairness, I suspect "scarecrow" would be at the very front of the line of people that think there's no way in he11 Duke should have lost that game to WVU...
Duluth is in the colder part of Atlanta.🥶For half a second when I heard it I was like "why are they playing the tournament in Minnesota?!"
Yes, NE of Atlanta and it should be a cool 82 this weekend!Duluth is in the colder part of Atlanta.🥶
WHAT??????????????? Why would the Big 12 have their swimming and diving tournament in Greensboro?@LETTERL @FanInNC
Sorry about last night. Y'all were just a ant standing on the railroad track when a Nice Blue freight train came rumbling through West Raleigh
Anyway. The ACC WBB isn't here in Greensboro this week, but you can attend the Big 12 swimming and diving championships.

It just occurred to me.
The ACCT is in Duluth, Georgia. And Duke's the Blue Devils. Making the connection made me pull up "The Devil Went Down To Georgia". Great tune!

Hope Syracuse can keep her, you know those $EC schools are waiting at the gates like greedy expletives deleted.

Yeah last night was the latest in a long line of disappointing outcomes for the men. The only fun thing that’s happened in 2 or 3 weeks was the beat down they put on the Heels. The Pack men are very one dimensional. When the 3s aren’t falling they aren’t that scary.@LETTERL @FanInNC

For the uninitiated and @LETTERL, actually this is NOT about neutral championship sites as almost all swimming championships are never held at a D1 school. The conferences usually want a high end facility with spectator views which most D1 pools do not have. Championship swimming is about pool depth 8 feet or more (to absorb all the kicking turbulance), desk space to accommodate all the teams, spectator seating, hotel accommodations and 8 competition lanes, separate diving wells, warm-up and warm-down areas. But as Triad notes, the GAC is a phenomenal facility and is known as one of the fastest pools in the country. The indoor YMCA nationals are held there frequently.Well apparently the Big 12 is going to a neutral championships away from campus locations for sports. Greensboro has one of the top Aquatic centers in the US, and of course it is a neutral location. Unfortunately it was last week, but they are completely back in 2027
