Man, Notre Dame should really hope to avoid Ole Miss in the second round. I’ve become a UM skeptic vs top tier competition, but lack of offense isn’t stopping Duke today.

????

Ole Miss is likely hosting, so they wouldn't face off in the second round. Looks like Notre Dame will be a 2-seed.

Debbie Antonelli had a great line today during the broadcast of the State/UNC game. Something to the affect of “Wes Moore and NC State are going for their 4th ACC championship in 6 years, Courtney Banghart and Carolina are trying for their 4th win in 6 years in the conference tournament”.

;)

They don't care anymore. Their focus shifted to the men's game for their raggedy bubble team.

21,000 baby blue clad fans going home unhappy. That place looks massive.

I know what you mean there seemed to be a few games today where there was little control by the refs.

Utsby was one victim and her 3x3 teammate Maddy Westbeld was another. Early in the Cal game she drove, scored, and was hit so hard she couldn't complete the and one because of her back and a voluminous nose bleed.
Maddy took another shot to the nose today. She didn’t seem to be at full steam after that to me. But then the whole team didn’t.

Coach Lawson out there doing her thang!! Well done, Coach!! Great win. Just think. Three years ago, fans especially some folks here in the Yard family, wanted Coach Lawson gone. Or were saying how "she was in over her head". Didn't have "college coaching" experience. SMH. Keep doing your thang, Coach!

Same with Coach Ivey. Tough loss but hang in there. You have Notre Dame headed in the right direction. Great players out there. You ladies are doing great out there.

They came in the same time. The progress their programs have made in 5 years should be commended. It's been fun to watch how these teams have evolved.

They weren't wrong then and aren't wrong now. Take a look at who Kara's opposing today and you'll see why I say that. She's closer to Courtney Banghart than she is to Wes Moore. Wes entered this league (he had been an assistant before coming back as a head coach) knowing what he was doing, and the results show that.

Will Kara get there? We'll see. The previous coach had Duke winning multiple ACC championships before Notre Dame, Louisville, and, eventually, North Carolina State took over. She never took Duke to the Final Four, however.

Well deserved win today. Disappointing for the Pack, looked like dead legs in the 2nd and couldn’t match Dukes energy and intensity. That much is shown in the rebound numbers.
