That would be interesting, and kinda weird.Wait until it comes out that his asking price for UConn was higher than his asking price for Arkansas

CT kids really want to leave CT. LolWait until it comes out that his asking price for UConn was higher than his asking price for Arkansas
This is usually true if they want to live in New York or Mass or maybe the DMV. Never had a friend say they were desperate to move to Arkansas.CT kids really want to leave CT. Lol
Feel like it doesn’t even have much to do with UConn.
I agree I wouldn’t want to move to Arkansas. This is usually true if they want to live in New York or Mass or maybe the DMV. Never had a friend say they were desperate to move to Arkansas.
This is just not true. I get you kept claiming that he was not interested in staying in CT, but that’s not true. UConn was his dream school. UConn was slow to offer him. Toure made 3 unofficial visits to UConn which is telling of his interest in UConn. Toure was just never a top priority for UConn. I like Toure and I think he has great potential and ability. I hope he does really well in college and hopefully in the NBA.Wait until it comes out that his asking price for UConn was higher than his asking price for Arkansas
My kids are in his orbit and this is true. He was way into UConn for years but feel the staff felt he was not a piece of the plan. Wish him the best. This is just not true. We offered him in January. Every player coming on a visit this year we offered May of this year or later except Qayden Samuels, who we offered last summer. We offered County in May, Mingo in June, Landrew in late July, Cloer in May.This is just not true. I get you kept claiming that he was not interested in staying in CT, but that’s not true. What are the thoughts on why this might be? Does the staff feel like his game or makeup might be lacking in a certain area? It did seem like he was into UConn early on. But the interest didn’t seem equally reciprocated. I’m just curious as to why that might be.My kids are in his orbit and this is true. From when UConn was first connected to Toure to when the offer came the offer was quite slow to materialize… he had an unofficial visit to UConn in February of last year.We offered him in January. If he read non-prioritization or slow from that, he read the opposite of reality. (Though obviously that's not the only piece of the puzzle, just one).
This is not the UConn of a few years ago, a UConn offer is meaningful and needs to be earned. We're only giving out a handful of offers every yearFrom when UConn was first connected to Toure to when the offer came the offer was quite slow to materialize… he had an unofficial visit to UConn in February of last year.
Just not what I heard. From a VERY reliable source. Over a year ago. Believe what you want. Never said there was “no interest”. Just that he preferred to go further from home. Unless the money was just undeniable. Maybe it was sour grapes from his side, idk. But I gain nothing from this lmao. This is just not true. Fayetteville is not like the rest of Arkansas. I lived in Fayetteville for a few years. It is a great college town, lots of resources (thanks to the Waltons), a thriving music scene, and lots of nightlife. Good fan base. Most of the rest of the state is a dumpster fire, but I liked living in Fayetteville. Very easy to be a big fish on campus in that town....This is usually true if they want to live in New York or Mass or maybe the DMV. Never had a friend say they were desperate to move to Arkansas.
I'm not usually touting sources, just not sure why this is even a conversation anymore. This has fallen firmly into who cares territory. Kid is going to Arkansas. Why do we care as to why? We'll get multiple players better than him.The boneyard source off!![]()
If that's the case I think the staff made a mistake. My kids are in his orbit and this is true. He was way into UConn for years but feel the staff felt he was not a piece of the plan. Wish him the best.
We really should hope Mingo and Landrew commit here.If that's the case I think the staff made a mistake.
It would seem soAll eggs in the Mingo basket
County and Landrew as wellAll eggs in the Mingo basket
Why? Did 247 and On3 also make mistakes ranking him in the mid 30's?'If that's the case I think the staff made a mistake.
