Of course I know it. The squid is more style than substance. So are the players that commit to him. Remember the latter point next Friday.Of course his teams can’t beat UConn on the court in March. You know it, I know it, Calipari knows it, everyone knows it.
Imagine rooting for Arkansas lol. They are literally the epitome of the evil empire. Calipari and Walmart fueling their NIL. I can’t hate that school enough.Of course I know it. The squid is more style than substance. So are the players that commit to him. Remember the latter point next Friday.
Was in Bentonville to Mountain Bike this summer. The money Walmart is pouring into that area is ridiculous. If I was looking into real estate now, that would be an area to target. I can see Austin 2.0 in 25 years. Their top 150 vendors are required to have hub offices there to work with them. The level of new residential development is insane, very cool biking culture and they're making it a destination for bikers. I spoke to a woman who brought her teenage son in from Norway. Then you have the Ozark lakes nearby.Providence, UConn and Walmart.
Pretty sure that Walmart will pay Toure whatever they need to pay him. UConn does not have the cash to compete with Walmart. If he picks us it will be for reasons other than the most money.
Walmart should ask for their money back that they’re pouring into the football team. ND might have 800 yards of offense against them today lol.Was in Bentonville to Mountain Bike this summer. Took a cruise down to Fayetville for a day - lot more going on there than Storrs.

It’s bothIt is tyson money not walmart
And as the old saying goes...when there's no smoke, there's no "warm spherical objects" (filter doesn't like what I'm trying to say)We have not heard a thing about him coming here lately. There's no smoke, no nothing.
Tyson Foods, Walmart, and J.B. Hunt.It is tyson money not walmart
Being right sucks sometimes. NEXT.

The only hole in this logic is that I imagine Toure is significantly more expensive than CloerI think there's a non-0% chance he commits. There's been no smoke at all lately, but things can change quickly. In the past week:
1. Trilly put in a gif for Cloer to NC State
2. Trilly said a source told him UConn might let County walk to go all in on Mingo/Landrew. When asked to clarify if they we going all in on both he said he wasn't sure it was realistic to get both.
3. Tom Moore's comments in his Storrs Central interview the other night when talking about our recruiting model Tom Moore Live Q&A (Varsity) (at the 57:48 mark)
If Cloer told the staff he will be committing to NC State, that's suddenly a bucket of NIL money planned for Cloer that gets freed up. If we can't realistically afford both Mingo and Landrew (hope this isn't true) then following the model Tom mentioned, we could pivot to a big offer for Mingo, up the offer for Toure a bit, and the remaining budget goes to another developmental player. I know this probably gives off Pepe Silvia vibes, but it's at least plausible.

I guess Will Wade could have thrown a huge bag at Cloer, but feel like it's been the talk around Toure for a year plus that he's going to the highest bidder. And then a final 3 of the local school UConn, Calipari, and a desperate Kim English with a supposed blank check seems to back that upWhy? Cloer is ranked higher
Off the top of my head, probably Edmund Saunders. But that area isn’t exactly a hotbed of high school basketball recruits.Who was the last New Haven County kid that went to UConn?
Hard disagree. This might be true for a limited, more recent, period of time before the B2B, but when I grew up there (1980 - 2003) UConn basketball - men’s and women’s- was extremely popular. We just didn’t have much talent good enough to play there.Up until the back to back titles you'd be hard pressed to find a handful of people even talking about UConn basketball.
Just get it done. Then All we need in the portal next summer is a backup PG and backup C and we’re good to go.If we can't realistically afford both Mingo and Landrew (hope this isn't true) then following the model Tom mentioned, we could pivot to a big offer for Mingo,
