Aaliyah in DC

.-.
Aliyah had an IG post where she had been introduced to Maryland style steamed blue crabs. A little disappointed that she opted for a veggie burger...:(;):D
Too much of an animal lover to give in to a local delicacy. Gotta respect that. :D

Having lived in MD for many years, I never became a fan of crabs. Don’t get me wrong, blue crabs are delicious. But there’s just so much work involved in getting the little bit of crab meat out of the shell, I could never justify the effort……:(

Eating Maryland crabs, especially if they are not large, involves a net calorie loss.

For me, Maryland crabs are more about the social aspect than they are about the nutritional aspect.

Spot on. A crab fest gives you an excuse to sit around someone’s back yard all day drinking beer. That’s something to enjoy!!!

Thought clams were considered seafood and a living organism? Aaliyah's a vegetarian.

Exactly. Someone suggested that her love of animals motivated her. I was seeing it from the POV of the plants. The eternal battle between plants and animals. ;)
