I’m sure the games are going to be awful, but there are a lot of familiar names to college fans.

Love some of the rules changes.

4th and 12 from your 28 instead of onsides? Love it.

No kickoffs? Love it.

35 second clock

OT - first and goal from 10. Have to go for 2. Each team gets one possession then tie. I’d go with two possessions then tie.

Sky judge can be a good thing if they get it right.

Not sure I get why they want illegal defense other than they really want scoring and the QBs are an issue.

Give me the first three in the NFL tomorrow and probably the sky judge.

Now we just need the Elam ending in CBB and we’d be making some improvements.

um whats the point of the sky god if he doesnt overturn the spot they missed by two yards

I have to say after a few minutes, this is high level play and the tv production is good as well.

interesting so far. The play is okay, but it should improve some with more time. I know they have only been together for less than a month.

This is actually.....decent football. CBS might have something here.
It's gonna need star power. That's the biggest lacking factor for me so far

I watched the first half. Was pretty decent. I liked being able to see a lot of college names I recognized. I believe Houston's former QB, Ward, was playing WR for San Antonio. Didn't realize Gavin Escobar was no longer on the Cowboys, or that he was a second round pick?!?

Overall, I'll give it a few watches. Like Whaler said, it's better than anything else on right now. I don't watch the NBA and many college bball games bore me.

Anyone know if they'll broadcast more then one game at a time? Are games only played on Saturday?

>>Schedule overview - The AAF's 10-week, 40-game regular-season slate will begin Saturday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. ET from Spectrum Stadium in Florida, where the Orlando Apollos will host the Atlanta Legends; and from The Alamodome in Texas, where the San Antonio Commanders will host the San Diego Fleet. Typically, there will be two Saturday games and two Sunday games with one during the afternoon and one in the evening.

CBS is scheduled to broadcast the AAF's Opening Day, while CBS Sports Network will then carry one AAF game each week throughout the season. You can also see a week-by-week schedule for individual teams below. <<
