It amazes me the price of the tourney tickets on the XL website compared to the secondary market. Mind blowing! you would have to think the conference is putting all those tickets on the secondary market. I mean section 203 for the strip on XL Site $1,300 Vivid Seats $58.

$1,300 per seat in the upper level??? That's impossible. The XL site was selling semifinal/final packages for the lower level a few weeks ago for $175 per seat.

They must have thought they were hosting the ACC tournament. Did anyone tell them the XL center is hosting the AAC tournament!!?

Yes almost every ticket on the secondary market is the conference underselling themselves.

I considered buying from the conference back in the summer until I saw what they wanted for tickets. Just insane. They live in an alternate reality.

the going face value is ridiculous for this tournament.

I drank the kool-aid. Paid $700 for a pair of lower level seats. Then found out the Thursday games are GA.

I got sec 202 row g for $70. I feel bad for anyone who paid through the XL website.

You can get a strip for $20 before fees on StubHub. I spent 350 for a strip in Memphis the first year. Big waste of money.

Is it pretty certain we will be the 7 seed unless we somehow beat Cincy tomorrow?

Bought 12 tickets for the strip $50 each in 20. Thursday's games are general admission first come first serve FYI

What a joke. I honestly don't even think we will draw a big crowd unfortunately

I just bought 2 strips in section 111 row L for $20 each plus fees. Couldn't resist how cheap it was.

I have a feeling this will be a very poorly attended event. I did a pretty exhaustive search last night for good seats at a decent price. Ended up buying via Stubhub and paying an average of 62 bucks, fees included for section 102/105 seats.

Shoulda had this one in Orlando.

It's really not an unreasonable assumption. The conference is worried about the embarrassment of an empty building. Why would people in the ticket brokering business unload tickets so cheap? $ 6-20 ?

If you run a ticket agency and eat the tickets you can write the face value off and the lowered tax burden would be worth much more than the prices posted.

It's guaranteed it's the conference.

The conference has done this every year. Last year in Orlando was a joke. They were charging an arm and a leg at the box office and the secondary market prices were all over the place. Paid $30 or less per day but was a headache buying them. Picked up outside the arena and an employee basically told us that the conference was controlling the market. Weird since the building was a library without the people

This is actually going to work out as well as it possibly could have in terms of times/teams we play.

If the current Houston and Tulsa results hold (looking likely) we play USF Thursday night at 8 against the Bulls. Win that and its Friday night at 9 against Houston. Win that and its 5pm on Saturday against Cincinnati. Hopefully UConn fans respond and pack the place out, all session tickets can be bought for as little as $10 before fees/taxes: StubHub!
