A new year of basketball: Dec. 30-Jan. 6

Collision driving to the basket. Holding her lower back.

She has had back problems in the past. A back injury took her out her freshmen season.

Wazzu is opening up a can of whoop-*** on Cal 20-3. If the Bears drop a pair of home games to the Washington schools...is that one of the "tough" teams UConn played this year.
Yes, clearly Washington State is a better team than UConn. Good thing Geno didn't schedule them this year

Creighton leading DePaul 63-60 9' left in Q4

Yeah, clearly not, but I keep trying to figure out why people think UConn has played a tough schedule when it's full of mediocre teams like the Cougs, Vandy, Ohio St. and Seton Hall. All they've done is avoid playing bad teams, but they get a big helping of that now in the AAC.

Is this really the time to get into this? Oregon State was down by 5 at halftime to a team that's worse than anyone UConn has played.

What does one have to do with the other? I'm frustrated by the way the Beavs have been playing most of the season.

Cal making a run to end the half, 52-26 inside a minute left.

The renaissance of Wake is continuing. They're up on Georgia Tech 50-43 midway through 4Q. This team has found something.

If they keep it up, they might get some votes in the next Boneyard poll

Massey says Wichita State is worse than Liberty.

Molina is going off w/ 21 at the half. 54-29 Wazzu leads.

Chante Stonewall hits 1 of 2 FTs to put DePaul up by 1. Creighton has 6.4 to win the game.

For UConn's OOC, it was all about the timing of opponents because they play some during conference play. If they had Baylor, South Carolina, and Oregon in November/December, it would look a lot stronger.

Everyone knew Cal and Vandy would likely be near the bottom of their conferences.

Kelly Campbell comes up with a steal on the critical possession and hits 2 FTs to seal the win.

DePaul survives the always tricky road game at Creighton, 74-71. Stonewall had 26 points, Held 23. Sonya Morris had maybe her worst game of the season, only 2 points on 1-12 shooting.

Carda had a great game for Creighton: 24 points on 7-10 FG and 10-10 FT.

Ironic how we could potentially not be tied with Missouri since Mitchell is 3-9 from the free throw line, but without her, we aren't in this game at all.

I think Hristova set the career scoring mark at Wazzu today.
