In all honesty, I'd rather not read "speculation" put out by sources (PC, RU) that have a vested interest in seeing UConn athletics wither up and die.

Usually, the phrase "Don't shoot the messenger" comes when you're delivering bad news. One writer speculating that he thinks the B12 should take two schools as football-only members doesn't exactly qualify.

When he wrote for the Globe, he was actually pretty pro-UConn.

Not sure what you mean? I don't have a problem with UConn other than you won't play us in a home and away. This would fix that

I was not replying to say you have a problem with UConn, what I was implying isthe article was not in our best interest, I like to play OBE teams, occasionally, but not as a steady diet. No conference would take only our football team at this time, Blaudshun is an idiot to think that.
