CT has the exact same H.S. rules as most other states, i.e. the standard NFHS rules. If he has any complaints, it is likely about the relatively low number of games and the late start to the season. Also he might have an issue with not having the stronger teams play in the same league. A good H.S. player on a strong team will rarely be challenged in league season in CT.
P.S. Not sure if anyone mentioned NFA's Marci Glenney.
Geno's chief issue with CT high school basketball was the rule that high school coaches were prevented from working with players when school was not in session - the summer months. He said it was a big issue in Connecticut players' development. Geno said this a number of years ago so I have no idea whether that rule remains active or not.
