A decent game from either of them and we win, a decent game from both and we win easily. After years of their low bball IQ I'm sick of it, it's a drain on the team and draining as a fan. The team has grown a lot recently. Adams is a stud point guard, Vance is a damn good freshman, Facey has come into his own and Enoch and Vital show some flashes. Basically if Adams comes back next season we have a chance to be great, if not we are in trouble.

Agreed, the experience these guys are getting now is building us for a much brighter future. Losing Purvis and Amida is addition by subtraction (although I at least think Amida has a positive impact on the game when he can keep out of foul trouble, which is rare, but he cant!). We NEED Adams to be back next year though, that is key to any success.

When Brimah stays on the floor he can be special on defense. Doesn't happen often enough even when he doesn't get quick fouls however.

Rodney is by far and away the best perimeter defender. Gilbert didn't play enough to know how well he can play defense on this level. Vital is intriguing. At this stage he appears to be a poorer RP 2.o. They are freshman so there is hope but no way to know for sure.

Jalen is a decent defender but can't have him playing opposing teams best perimeter players otherwise he would get into foul trouble and at this stage he's not as good as Rodney.

I can't disagree with this. It it was it is. Both are great kids but just haven't gotten it done on the basketball court with any level of consistency that their 4 and 5 years in college warrant.

Yes, Brimah can be a beast defensively and catch the oop. But the fouls and yes the phantom fouls coupled with the stupid fouls keeps him on the bench way to much for a Sr.

RP just can't get it done when it matters. Bonehead plays way to much.

Several stats that stick out. AB. 5 fouls in six min., RP 4-12 and 1-5 from three, SE 27 min., one RBI, VJ 36 min. 1 RBI. We got killed on the boards, 34 to 23. Agree on AB and RP, also need more boards from SE and VJ. Adams played very well with 21 and 9 assist.

Really down on Brimah after today.

He's a senior and he's still looking for ways to get himself out of games when he's intimidated.

The failure to recruit a decent center over the past million years is killing us this year and will kill us again next year.
