Sorry to see Azzi is still having discomfort with her foot injury, hopefully she is ok once the season starts. Has got to be frustrating for her after dealing with the knee injury.

The part of the article that deals with the pressure the kids are under is sobering. Inconsolable crying after a win! We tend to forget about the pressure. Then there is Laurel and Hardy! I wonder how Izzi fits in with those 2.

What a great article. At the same tie very insightful. You can see the relationship between a coach and two of his stars. It's a wonderful thing! You can also see the respect that both sides have for each other.

There is a reason UConn has been so successful under Geno.

Amazing article. The relationship between Geno, CD and the staff are responsible for their success. If you don't want to try your hardest, the door is open for you to go somewhere else. "Do or do not. There is no try." Couldn't have said it better myself.

We as fans need to realize what the players and coaches go through ( how hard they work and what they have to deal with) they put in a lot of time and effort for a sport they love, and we as fans love, I for one enjoy and appreciate all of their efforts no matter the outcome they are still my team!! I hate to rush summer but I also can't wait to watch them play.

Missing Paige as she was named after the publication. And my count for WBCA awards is 24 including Paige, 17 for AP first team including Paige.
Page 70 lists players of the year - 14 total counting multiple years for players (includes Paige) and counting both Maya and Tina in 2010 as they both won awards that year
