Shocking that politicians are getting involved. Really, this stuff is enough to make your head spin and turn your stomach.

Shocking that McConnell knows how to c00pe -- uh oh, I almost got political.

The reality is, Gov. Malloy has been involved at least to some extent in the question of what UConn should be trying to do to assure some extended stability. And that is as it should be, given how much taxpayer money has been poured into UConn sports, especially football. There is a darn big investment to protect, which I understand even though this whole era is sickening. I am not happy about a conference that might include teams from the Southwest, the northern Rockies and everywhere in between. What would it be called? I propose the Big Blob. Can't wait to bait all of my CT neighbors who went to SMU or who have Air Forcemania .

Could be both of them. Missouri stays....Big 12 at 10. Add WVU and Louisville for 12. Missouri leaves....Big 12 at 9....add WVU, Louisville and BYU.
