The Big 12 coaching fraternity certainly supported the Cowgirls. In addition to Coale, Baylor’s Kim Mulkey, Texas’ Gail Goestenkors, Texas Tech’s Kristy Curry, Texas A&M’s Gary Blair and Kansas’ Bonnie Henrickson, plus some of their staff members, attended the service.
Other coaches attending were Nebraska’s Connie Yori, TCU’s Jeff Mittie, Nebraska men’s coach Doc Sadler and Houston men’s coach James Dickey, a former OSU assistant.
