Standard college baseball, be aggressive on offense and make the defense make a play. Never know when the ball is going to go flying somewhere, and not into a glove. Top of the 1st inning with Smith is a perfect example of this.

Top 3rd, S. Quigley issues a leadoff walk followed by a no out single. With 2 out, a walk loads the bases. Quigley gets out of the jam, 2-1 Pirates.

Our outfield speed cuts down a lot of potential hits + rewards fly ball pitchers.

It's why fly ball prone teams like SDSU and FAU struggle to do much against us. Singles teams like Rutgers have a better shot of doing damage.

Top 8th, Hyde takes over at catcher. Daniels at 2B, Smith to LF, Morton comes out of the game.
