I watched Hyde play summer ball in Norwich last year. He did well at the plate in Norwich, so I thought he had a chance to continue it some in the spring season with UConn. Hyde showed a really good eye at the plate in Norwich, he drew a bunch of walks.

I watched Hyde play summer ball in Norwich last year. He did well at the plate in Norwich, so I thought he had a chance to continue it some in the spring season with UConn. Hyde showed a really good eye at the plate in Norwich.

Yea, he is a better hitter than his stats show, would not have predicted both Morton and Smith to struggle in the same game as Hyde’s breakout, though.
