8 Miss. State vs Florida

The game is on the SEC Network. MSU is up 21-15 at the end of the first quarter. They'd be up by two more points if either of two players had made their uncontested layups.

Wow, do any SEC teams run an actual offense? Lots of one on one stuff and wild shots.

These two teams have had more TOs than shots made since I turned on the game.

Victoria Vivians is an undeniable talent but seems undisciplined.

The MSU coach got the team on track, the players have settled down and started runnung the offense resulting in fewer turnovers and missed shots. Florida, meanwhile, is playing dreadfully, running full speed onto the defensive player, heaving up questionable shots. I think the Gators may be panicking because the coach seems to be trying to get them to focus.

Florida picked up its defense which helped calm down the players on offense. The announcers seem to feel the game is atypical for Florida.

I originally thought Miss State was over rated and thought USF would prove that out. I was wrong. Gotta like what you see from Miss State at this point in the season...

Then again, Florida outplays them in the 2nd half. Vivians - 4-20? YIKES! At some point maybe realize it's not your night and work on defense and assists, or maybe drive to the basket or something? 6 boards but 0 assists, and she's a guard...
