That side of our special teams has been solid. I would like to see our power play be more effective. Would like to see higher-scoring chances other than Wood one-timers from the left dot. We waste a lot of time fumbling the puck around before getting a cycle going. Maybe moving Tverberg to a different location on the pp would help.

UConn up 7-5 in SOG but down 1-0 on the scoreboard. These Riverhawks are always a tough opponent.
 
UConn going on the power play. UML has an 85.7% kill rate.
 
Nice save by Terness with seconds left keeps it at 1-0 UML after 1.

Great scoring chances on both sides. Pretty even so far. Should be 0-0. That goal was 55 seconds in? Shoulda had it, but I can understand an early road goal due to nerves etc

Never been here before. Decent arena. I bet they’re gonna say it’s “sold out”, but I see plenty of blue seats. I now see with my own eyes how UML is leader in HE attendance every yr. They fudge hardcore.

Bad penalty on Wood. The homer in me says the refs have missed a few calls that should have gone our way.
