She had some magic earlier in the season, but I didn't like what I saw from her in the 1st round at all. I didn't watch, but apparently she was off all thru the ACC tourney.

40-28 NW at third media break

Not sure Walz scouted NW very well.

Louisville beat two ranked teams all year; one DePaul which turned out not to be a ranked team, and also Syracuse which was 23rd at the time and maybe not a ranked team either.

NW picking apart the double team on the primary ball handler at the top of the key. Louisville not making much headway, 40-28 midway thru Q3. I've been fairly unimpressed w/ Louisville in general this year, but holy cow this is a poor showing.
But the officials seem to be helping with some of the fouls being called against NW. One was a clean block and the young lady got called for a foul. Some of these officials seem to be calling them like they perceived that it was a foul before the player even started to jump.

The dreaded anticipation call. I hate that.

Little Mo has switched to Louisville. Northwestern has scored 15 points in the last 17 minutes of game time.

NW are offense challenged so Louisville is back and now we are having a game

.-.
Lost in all the other chatter, Pulliam has 1 point and is 0-7 from the field. 2nd leading scorer for NW I think? Some of her misses have been really terrible shots.

Wow if northwestern blows the 18 point lead. pulliam has to get going she’s 0-7. Stop taking stupid contested shots

I've been giving Louisville a tough time, but they never panicked. Whole game has been a struggle but they kept their heads up. NW left the door open instead of putting this away after a pretty much perfect start to the game.

Cochran going to the FT line, Ville can grab the lead.

edit--hit 1 of 2; first tie of the game

3/4 court heave at the buzzer hits front rim, all tied up going into Q4.

40-40 game, going to Q4. Louisville on a 33-15 run

Could see this coming — NW taking bad shot after shot and have scored 15 total the last 2 quarters.

It seems like they have like 10 thousand players on their team lol aren’t they only losing Dana evans and adding a couple of recruits?
Return 11, add 2
Assuming no transfers

First lead of the game for the Cards. They might end up winning in a blowout.

Dag..... hate having these close games around dinner time

Northwestern folding under pressure. Louisville having the slow start issues UConn had earlier. They might not be able to catch the better teams is they start like that.

Did the Louisville player that got hit in the eye earlier ever return?

Mo has left Louisville. 47-45 lead still. Could go either way, 5 minutes left.
