Yeah, would love to get more shooters. We have no one on the roster his size either. At 6'5" and listed as an SG he could play 2 or 3 comfortably, I imagine. Also, he must have played with Vital at St Thomas More, right?

Jesus this kid has a smooth stroke.

CV also played at St. Thomas More but didn't play with him. Nunez was at his old highschool in Brooklyn up until this prep year. There's a decent chance they know each other though.

Great stroke and range for sure. Never enough shooters, besides the awful pass that deflected back to him like his game.

Very quick release and great form. Doesn't look like he does much else but hey neither did Rashad.

Definitely not quick enough to defend well at any position, but that is a near perfect stroke.

This kid - - - has an absolutely pure stroke and easy range. Yeah, it's a highlight video. But watch his footwork, and his setup, release, and follow-through. Classic.

This kid looks good. He might blow up this year so it's good we are at him early in the game!

Great to have a pure, CT-based shooter like Nunez.

I honestly think UConn's biggest obstacles for recruiting Nunez would be the Ivy League schools. Yale, Brown and Dartmouth have offered and if I were a borderline prospect, I'd go for the free Ivy education.

Worth noting that Nuñez is a great student as well. 3.8 GPA.

His size and seemingly great form and jumper makes him a high level player, unless he was literally a negative in every other category.

I like what I see off of the one video enough to definitely intrigue me. Very smooth looking shooter.

Stand in the corner or wing and wait for our increasingly good stable of guards to kick out.
